The only way to reach the trails is by riding Ober Gatlinburg’s Scenic Chairlift, which is included in the price. This peaceful chairlift ride provides an impressive 779 foot rise in elevation above the park and offers incredible views of the Smoky Mountains! At 3,019 feet in length, this is also the longest chairlift ride of its type in the United States! Once you reach the top, you’ll find the head of the trail where you can begin your hiking adventure in the woods!

While there is no specific “packing list” required for the Trails at Ober, there are a few items that you’ll probably want to bring along for your hike!
