March 23, 2018 at 8:32 amSounds exciting! Can’t wait to see the venue line-up for live entertainment. Hopefully, Blake will make an appearance every now and then too, which would be fabulous. I come 5-6 times a year from NC, so this will be a must visit location during each of my trips.

March 23, 2018 at 8:58 amI love Gatlinburg, but it is getting a bit expensive! The new Ankesster(?) is a waste of good money. Twin Island, the hotel they took down for Margaretville was a favorite place for us to stay. Now, several local small businesses will be forced closed to build this. Yes I agree, a dance hall will be a good thing for the younger crowd, but again, I imagine the prices will be steep. We have started to stay in Pigeon Forge with cheaper prices and just taking trolley over to Gatlinburg and then walk up and down main street, maybe go to Ober Gatlinburg (if we have grandkids) and then go back to PF. More family places. Only negative about PF is it the traffic!!! And really not walkable like Gatlinburg. Will I stop coming—Good Lord NO!!! Gatlinburg is my Happy Place!!

May 8, 2018 at 8:41 amYes I love Gatlinburg, I have been going there for the past 40 years and twice a year when my husband was alive. Now I still go but its with my kids and grandkids and we use to stay at Twin Island hotel and I loved it hated to see it go. I think Margaretville will a little more on the higher price so won’t be able to go. Its also my Happy Place !!!!

October 29, 2018 at 8:14 pmI agree with your comment but like you, I will always be back to Gatlinburg like I have for the past 30 years!

March 23, 2018 at 1:40 pmThis is so exciting! This is exactly what Gatlinburg needs. I go 2-3 times every year and absolutely love it there! I go back and forth between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but always stay in Gatlinburg. It’s a place where I can go with either friends or family and equally have fun with either. So happy!!!
Janet
March 23, 2018 at 2:01 pmYES!!! Josh Sullivan from Knoxville has three AWESOME up and coming artists that I hope to see on stage here???

March 23, 2018 at 3:48 pmsounds great need something new to do Visit PF every year and drive to Gatlinburg if I want to do something there But what about traffic It is already a nightmare trying to get through Gatlinburg and where is everybody going to park It is very hard to get a parking space in town Why couldn’t it have been in OF instead where there is wide open spaces and more room to park
Sherrie
March 24, 2018 at 2:17 amFantastic idea. This kind of venue will draw more people to stay in Gatlinburg and be able to walk to their destination. I can hardly wait to check it out. Blake Shelton will be perfect.?
John
March 25, 2018 at 9:41 amThere is a parking lot and a parking garage right across the street from where this will be.

March 23, 2018 at 11:34 pmWhile I do like Blake Shelton I am hoping that Gatlinburg won’t lose too many of its small shops to accommodate his new venue. One of the quaint things about Gatlinburg is being able to walk the Main Street and visit the many shops and restaurants and enjoy the beautiful lights. Certainly hope the arrival of too many big name establishments doesn’t take away from that.
Ceaig
March 29, 2018 at 6:06 amRiverbend Mall dont get a whole lot of traffic. There’s just a few shops left in there. Plus hopefully this will bring some business to this end of town. The old Ruby Tuesday building and the one next to it, was an Applebees I think last, will hopefully get some new tenants.
Michele
June 14, 2018 at 11:53 amThe mail didn’t get a lot of traffic, but because of all the big business coming to Gatlinburg, more small shops are having to close up. My shop is one of them. Gatlinburg isn’t what it was. Please don’t turn it into Big Business. The fire already hurt too many people. Think of the mama and papa shops. That is what Gatlinburg was about. =(

March 25, 2018 at 1:41 amYou bet we will be there as soon as it is open.

March 25, 2018 at 9:27 pmWe were just in downtown Nashville and saw where an Ole Red was now hiring there too! I just want to thank Blake Shelton for creating some good jobs as well as making for somewhere to have fun as well! I’ll be the first to spin my chair around and try to get him on my team!!!
Ed Bitner
March 25, 2018 at 10:05 pmJust what Gatlinburg needs. ANOTHER BAR! Seems like they have enough alcohol in that town. It is no longer a family destination. We’ve started hanging in Pigeon Forge where there are much better shows and fewer drunks to walk out in front of cars. Gatlinburg is getting to be the nations DRUNK TANK and I feel it’s time to stop going there.

December 20, 2018 at 9:23 amI could see this coming where he will get a chance to create a house band to accompany all the ex Voice contestants at very low price. Great entertainment at a very low overhead. Still he would have some headliners come in to keep the interest up.

January 28, 2019 at 6:19 pmCurtis We will be up in June hope it will be open by then.

February 14, 2019 at 8:19 amThis is AWESOME news! I look for any excuse to travel to Gatlinburg, so this has just added to my list. I visited “Ole Red” in Nashville this past November with two of my sisters and three of my nieces…….we had a blast! Anyone who loves country music, good food and great service will be in for a treat! For those who are skeptical about Blake Shelton ever visiting his restaurants, I follow Nashville news – YES he does visit!!
Mary Lou
